The Ponente line is characterised by the use of natural materials. The 90x50 units with washbasin, the 90x50 bench and the 90x50 mirror with frame area are made from natural solid oak. 40 and 20 mm fir blockboard was used for the 140x70 washing machine unit covered with sliced veneer oak in natural or tobacco colour, which also has a matching back-lit mirror. The stone is also an important factor in this line. It was the object of careful and methodical research to obtain a very compact product with a low absorption rate, it is not brittle and can be assembled using techniques that guarantee its seal over time. The stone used for the washbasins are treated and polished while the shower trays are “acid etched” to give them a non-slip natural effect. Like all stones – not being ceramic and/or plastic – they suffer from the use of alkaline products and high temperatures, therefore, appropriate use is recommended.
